Obituary:

Dillan Caleb Brooks, age 16, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007, in Elm Springs, Arkansas.
He was born July 6, 1990, the son of Wayne and Kelley (Eggleston) Brooks.

He is survived by his father, Wayne Brooks and step-mother, Christy of Granby, Missouri; mother, Kelley Brooks of Seligman, Missouri; grandparents, John and Doris Eggleston of Seligman, Missouri, Nancy Brooks of Granby, Missouri, Paul Morlan of Granby, Janice Hamblin of Rogers, Arkansas and Ron Hamblin of Tonitown, Arkansas, Ronnie and Mariann Howell of Dixon, Missouri; one sister, Sarah Brooks of Seligman; one brother, Kole Blake of Seligman; two step brothers, Keith and Trenton Deshields; two half sisters, Mattie and Laira Brooks; aunts and uncles, Darren and Christy Eggleston of Seligman, Mike and Leighann Clifton of Washburn, Bobby and Julie Brooks, James and Kim Green, Jerry Brooks and Angela Cagle, all of Granby and cousins, Brittany, Haley and Hanna Clifton, Johnny and Anthony Eggleston, Shawnna Burgess and other cousins from Granby, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Eura and Marion Eggleston and Lily and Jesse Corn.

Dillan attended Southwest High School in Washburn and East Newton School. He loved skateboarding and music and was an avid artist.
