Michael Wayne Canterbury, 16, son of Jack and Virginia (Grogan) Canterbury, was born Oct. 11, 1961 in Houston, Mo. and died June 17, 1978.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Canterbury of Houston; one broher, Jeffrey and two sisters, Pamela and Sherry of the home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Fern Case of Marshfield, Mo. and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Edith Bowen of Willow Springs. He was a student at Houston R-l School.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 19 at 10:30 a.m. in the Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Cunningham officiating. Burial was in the Cabool Cemetery [Houston Herald]
