William "Bill" Mizell Sr., 72, West Plains, were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Mizell died at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, in Kansas University Medical Center. He was born on May 17, 1935, in Pueblo, Colo., to Golden Stewart and Hazel Marie Grimes Mizell. On Dec. 17, 1954, he was married at Rome, Ga., to Deloris Spence. Mr. Mizell owned and operated a welding shop and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #327 A.F. & A.M. He is survived by his wife; four children .....; nine grandchildren....,and several nieces and nephews. His parents and one son-in-law, Gary Cantrell, precede him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shaw Building of the Ozarks Medical Center and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
