Funeral services for Douglas Ray Winsett, 67, West Plains, were Sunday, July 4, 2010, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Winsett died at 6:30 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2010, at his home. He was born July 7, 1942, in Muhlenberg County, Ky., to David Lauken and Gladys Marie Walker Winsett. On March 20, 1965, he was married at Greenville, Ky., to Dianne Latham. Mr. Winsett was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church having been very active in the church and served as a Deacon for many years. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Winsett, of the family home; three children, Mary Ann Reid, West Plains, Steve Winsett, wife, Lauriane, Tomball, Texas, and Stan Winsett, Plano, Texas; five grandchildren, Matthew Douglas Reid, Emily Christine Reid, Ashley Nichole Winsett, Christopher David Winsett and Benjamen Michael Winsett; four sisters, Phyllis Groves, Debbie Durham, Sarah Winsett, all of Greenville, Ky., and Rosa Jackson, husband, Randy, Crofton,KY.; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, one infant son, Harley Winsett and one sister, Barbara Knight, precede him in death. Mr. Winsett loved his family and friends. Burial was at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
