Graveside services for Leslie Paul Stanbery, 47, of Steele will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mr. Stanbery died Tuesday, February 22, 1994 at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti.
The son of the late George David and Loveta Williams Stanbery, he was born January 28, 1947. He was a construction worker. On June 4, 1988, he was married to Wilma Jean Spinner who survives.
Mr. Stanbery is also survived by two sons, Robert Stanbery of South Haven, Mich. and Phillip Stanbery of St. Louis; two step-sons, Marvin Bivens of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Christopher Bivins of Steele; two step-daughters Jean Ann Bivins of Kalamazoo, Mich. and Korin Bivins of Steele; a brother, Bill Stanbery of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Pearl Russom of Kalamazoo, Mich., Bonnie Cobb of Cahokia, Ill. and Georgia Haynes of Steele; and four grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Stanbery and James Stanbery.
