Aaron Kinyon was born in Bradford county, Pennsylvania, Mar 4, 1835, and departed this life April 26, 1896, at his home in Novinger, Mo.
He moved from Pennsylvania to Green county, Wisconsin, in 1844. He was converted and joined the United Brethren church in 1866. In 1869 he married Miss Mary Jane Carroll, who died in 1865 (Misprint). He enlisted in the Union army in 1864, and served till the close of the war. His second marriage was to Mrs. Sarah C. Baker in 1866. Three children were born of this union, all of whom died in childhood. He moved to Missouri in 1869 where he has since resided. He became a member of the Methodist church in 1870.
Mr. Kinyon had five brothers and three sisters, five of whom survive him. He was an honorable, upright citizen, a kind friend and neighbor. A wife, many relatives and friends mourn his death.
The remains were laid to rest in Kirksvill cemetery Tuesday morning, April 28. Rev Rozell conducted the funeral service.
