Funeral services for William A. "Bill" Holly were held Friday, September 15 at John W. German Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James F. McCrary officiated.
Burial was at Holly Cemetery in Steele with John W. German funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
"Bill" was born October 2, 1913 in Steele, the son of P.H. and Nora Holly and died September 11, 1967 in St. Louis, Mo. He was 53 years, 11 months and 9 days. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He leaves his wife, Emma Gean Holly; one son, William Earl Holly, both of Caruthersville; Three brothers, Miles A. Holly, St. Louis; Walter N. and Robert L. Holly, both of Steele; and two sisters, Mrs. Viola Schrader and Mrs. Helen Maclin, both of Steele.
