Obituary:
"Funeral services for Alfred F. Hicks, who died Wednesday morning from tuberculosis, will be held at the residence, 2122 Moffet avenue, at 2 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. R. Blunt, pastor of the South Joplin Christian church. Interment will take palce in Fairview cemetery." The services were under the auspices of the Woodmen of the World lodge.
