OBITUARY
DIED
Robert Burris departed this life Dec. 10th and was interred in the Kirksville Cemetery the following Sunday. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss. He was born in Flemming [sic] county, Ky., Feb 4th 1821, and was married to Miss Paulina Rich, of Boone Co., Ky., in 1844. Six children was the result of this union, four boys and two girls. The eldest son died 28 years ago at the age of eleven; the remaining five are living, and were all present at the time of his death. He moved from Kentucky to Ohio Co., Ind., and from there to Adair Co., Mo., thirty years ago, where he had continued to reside till the time of his death.
