A.S. SHOLLEY, 47 YEARS OLD, DIES IN MILAN
Born at Kirksville; Graveside Services To Be Held Here
Albert S. Sholly, 47, a farmer of the Milan vicinity, died in the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital at Milan Wednesday evening at six o'clock. He had been in failing health for the past few weeks.
Born in Kirksville on Sept. 2, 1911, he was the son of William F. Sholly, Jr., and Lenora Robbins Sholly. He married Maggie Stroud. No children were born to this marriage.
Surviving are his wife; an adopted son, Randy, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Lenora McKoon of Kirksville, and one sister, Mrs. Zola Hanson of Chicago, Ill.
He was a member of the Sullivan County American Legion Post No. 228.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Schoene Funeral Home in Milan with the Rev. William D. Bamman, pastor of the Milan Methodist church, officiating. Graveside services by the American Legion will be held in the Maple Hills cemetery at Kirksville the same afternoon.
Bearers will be: Charles Cannon, P. O. Perry, Bill Murrell, John Ballard, Clarence Gilbert and Irvin Keller.
