Graveside services for Danny Edward Finley, 64, West Plains, will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2011 in the Veterans Section, Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Finley died 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2011 at NHC HealthCare.
He was born October 24, 1946 at West Plains, Missouri to Edward Earl Finley and Wanda Griffin Finley Koon. He was married to Barbara Judd.
Mr. Finley was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Christian with his membership in the Church of Christ. He is survived by one son, John Carstairs; three grandchildren, Aysia Carstairs, Christian Carstairs and Austin Carstairs; mother of his children, Barbara Carstairs; his aunt, Dorothy Murrell, West Plains; and several special cousins.
His parents, one son, Jeremy Carstairs, his aunt, Janella Griffin Lovan and his uncle, Gene Griffin and wife, Georgia, precede him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. [ozarkareanetwork.com, Feb 18, 2011]
