Funeral services for Elbert Holt were held Monday, June 18, 1973 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home in Steele, with the Rev. James F. McCrary officiating.
A resident of Hermondale and long-time employee of Brown's farms, Mr. Holt died June 16 at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville.
He leaves his widow, Ruby Holt of Hermondale; five daughters; Fern Howard and Margaret Baldeers of Chicago, Lorene Pierce and Mrs. Eula B. Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla., and Dorothy Roberts, of Steele; two sons: Buddy Holt of Blytheville and Douglas Holt of Jacksonville; one sister: Annie Stevenson of Danville, Ala., and two brothers: Burly Holt of Sheffield, Ala., and Edward Holt of Danville.
German-Aumon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.
