Funeral services for Josie Ella Bushman, 85, West Plains, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2007, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.Miss Bushman died at 5:50 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in NHC. She was born on June 1, 1922, in Meyer, Ill., to Samuel and Alice Cummings Bushman. Miss Bushman had been a bookkeeper for Morlan-Shell Ford and previously had worked for Chet Chamberlain. She had received an Accounting Excellence Award for 36 years from Ford Motor Company and for 13 years from Toyota. Miss Bushman had been a member of the Women's Chamber of Commerce in Willow Springs. She is survived by her special friends, John and Sue Morlan of West Plains. Her parents; sister, Joyce Bushman; and one aunt, Stella Cummings, precede her in death. Burial was held at Willow Springs City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
