Kenneth R. Powers, 65, of Germantown, Tenn., passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at Germantown Methodist Hospital.
He was the husband of Rebecca Rushing Little Powers and son-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Little of Cooter.
Mr. Powers leaves his beloved wife, Rebecca; Four daughters: Kendra Rebecca Powers, Laura Rushing Meador, Stephanie Rebecca Chiles and Andrea Elaiine Donoho and husband William Ellis Donoho, III; Brother and sister-in law, Judge and Mrs. Lawrence Little, of Oxford, Miss., Grandchildren: Payton McKeown Roedel, Caleb Lawrence Roedel, Brittin Kennedy Roedel, Andrew Michael Stephan Roedel, William Ellis Donoho IV, Matthew Landrum Donoho and Whitney Blair Donoho.
Funeral services for Mr. Powers were held Friday, Jan 23, at Holly Grove Baptist Church with Rev. David Lewelling and Rev. Joseph Smith officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
