Steven Bruce Burns, 39, died at his home in Caruthersville, Mo., on April 27, 1989.

Son of the late Shirley Burns and Mae Davis Burns, he was born in Mississippi County, Arkansas on March 1, 1950 and attended schools in Cooter, Mo.

Graveside services for Mr. Burns were held Friday April 28, 1989 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mount Zion Cemetery near Steele, Mo., with Rev. Bill Luttrell officiating. H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves three brothers: T.J. Burns of Star City, Ark., Shannon Burns of Savannah, Tenn., and Paul Burns of Steele, and four sisters: Mrs. Martha Cutler of Caruthersville, Mrs. Janie Siegler of Doniphan, Mo., Mrs. Shirley Burns of St. Louis and Mrs. Regina King of Malden, Mo.

Members of the family served as pallbearers.
