Paul Everett Wilcox, 62, of Braggadocio, died June 30, 1989 at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Memphis. Born Jan. 17, 1927 at Braggadocio, he was the son of William and Wisa Ann Waldrop Wilcox. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by one son, Paul Wayne Wilcox of Van Buren; One sister, Mrs. Alberta Mathews of Paragould: One brother, Charles Wilcox of St. Charles; Three aunts who raised him, Mrs. Tommie Bruton, Mrs. Ethel Terrell and Mrs. Beaula Adams, all of Braggadocio.
And one grandchild.
Services were July 2 at 3 p.m. at Bradshaw's German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. Bill Luttrell officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Harold and David Mansfield, Eddie Brumley, Bob Russom, Buster Pylate and Don Evans.
