Robert Lee Brook, 69, of Willow Springs, Missouri departed this life on December 13, 2016 at his home in Willow Springs, Missouri.
He was born May 23, 1947 in Hutton Valley, Missouri, the son of Amanual Albert Brook and Bertha (Fulk) Hamilton.
Lee is survived by his wife, Alice (West) Brook, and children, Jason Brook and wife Gena, of Willow Springs, and Brandy Scott and husband Matthew of Rogersville, Missouri;
brothers, Gene Fulk, Dean Peabody and Joe Brook; sisters, Betty Bryan and Freda Bowman.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, Taylor Brook, Linsey Brook, Reagan Brook, Ty Brook, McKenzie Scott and Kylee Scott.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Amanual Brook and Bertha Hamilton; step-father, Ralph Hamilton and seven siblings.
Lee was a United States Army veteran, having honorably served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War.
Lee was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he never met a stranger.
He was an avid golfer and hunter.
He loved traveling and camping and especially enjoyed going to his cabin that he referred to as Shady Brook Acres.
Lee also enjoyed buying, selling and trading vehicles.
Lee was saved at the age of 24 and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Willow Springs.
Lee worked as a mechanic supervisor for the Missouri Department of Transportation for twenty nine years.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Willow Springs with Funeral Services at 10:00 am, Friday, December 16, 2016 also at the First Baptist Church, with Pastor Joel Hinds officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs.
