Lena Marie Curtis Mrs. Lena Marie Curtis, 65, Route 3, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday at Cardwell Memorial Hospital, Stella. She had been in the hospital two weeks. Mrs. Curtis was born April 6, 1910 in Pawnee Rock, Kan. She came to this area in 1950 from Dodge City, Kan. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Joan Williams, Neosho, and Mrs. Peggy Lou Wheelock, Parsons, Kan.; two sons, Richard Lee, Neosho, and Donald G., Route 3; one brother, Carl Barret, Liberal, Kan. and 12 grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Clark Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Cecil Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery. Members of the VFW Auxiliary will sit in a group. The family will be at the home of Joan Williams, 817 S. Neosho Blvd. Pallbearers will be Bill Hardage, George Malafa, Don Hoover, Norman Williams, Billy Williams and Ollie Mahon.
