Son of Claude Whaley and Helen (Gee)(Whaley) Drollinger. He received a paralegal degree in St. Joseph. He worked for the Wichita Eagle-Beacon Newspaper in Wichita, KS. After moving to Cassville he was employed at Arning and EFCO Corporation. He was a member of Merl’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Whaley, his grandparents and two nephews.
