Laura Lee Rodrock, 68, of Shell Knob, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. She was born on Sept. 23, 1944, in Westport, Conn., daughter of John and Betty (Lavenda) Rochovansky.

Following high school, she graduated from college with a biology degree. She had various jobs such as teaching a hands-on biology class in Connecticut and working in the animal nursery at the Phoenix Zoo in Arizona. She moved to Shell Knob in the late 1980s and began working as a mail carrier. In March of 1998, she married Jim Rodrock in Berryville, Ark., who survives. She was active for years in the Central Crossing Fire Department in Shell Knob, and attended Bridgeway Assembly of God Church.

Additional survivors include: one brother, Thomas Rochovansky and his wife, Nancy, of Shell Knob.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Rochovansky.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Bridgeway Assembly of God Church in Shell Knob with Rev. Lonnie Stockton officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Haven of the Ozarks and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
