Cooter, Mo.-Funeral services were held at No. 8 community Saturday afternoon for William Jeffries of near Blytheville, who formerly lived here and who died Thursday at his home. It was reported that his death was caused by drinking a large quantity of Lysol. The reason for the tragedy was not learned here.
Mr. Jeffries, who was about 30 years old, had lived around Cooter all of his life until recently. For some time he was employed as Watkin's Dealer in this territory.
He is survived by his wife and two small children.
Burial was made in the No. 8 cemetery.
