Kenneth Steinkoenig went to be with the Lord Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at the age of 86 years.
He is survived by his wife, Judith, of 61 years; five daughters; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Esther Steinkeonig, and one sister.
He served in the Navy and Marines and was Korean War veteran.
He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
Visitation time will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
