Graveside Services For Powell Russell
Powell Russell, 65, Quincy, Ill., died Saturday night at 7:10 at a Quincy hospital, where he had been a patient since Friday morning following a stroke.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Quincy, under the direction of the Stormer Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville, under the direction of the Funeral Home of Davis and Davis.
Born on March 20, 1892, in West Virginia, he was the son of John and Ella Russell. He was married to the former Anna Patterson.
He is survived by his wife of the home; a brother, Clyde, Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Earl Braner, Belle Fourche, S.D.; two step-sons, John T. Dabney, Kirksville, and Frank Miller, Ottumwa, Ia., and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Helen Jordan, St. Louis, and Mrs. Myrtle Evans, Quincy, Ill.
A veteran of World War I, Mr. Russell was formerly employed by the Ingersoll Saw Mill Company.
Bearers will be Frank B. Miller, George Miller, Albert Hendricks, Tom Dabney, Irvin Kriner and Gordon Coy.
