Debra Ann McMahan, 31, of Noel, Missouri departed this life suddenly on Friday morning, August 6, 2010 at the Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.
Debra entered this life on November 9, 1978 in Gravette, Arkansas born to the union of Mary Alice (Garvin) McMahan and the late Wilburn J.R. McMahan. She was a lifelong area resident of Noel, Missouri. She was employed by Simmons in Southwest City, Missouri for the last four years and was currently working on her degree in accounting. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two daughters and going to area casinos with her fiancé Ray. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of not only her family but to the countless lives she touched by the simple gift of organ donation.
Debra is survived by her daughters, Cheyenne Rose McMahan and Madison Lily Hutchison both of the home; her fiancé, Ray Hutchison of the home; her mother, Mary Alice McMahan of the home; four stepchildren, Michael Ray Hutchison, Jennifer Lynn Sparkman, Anthony Allen Wesley Hutchison all of Republic, Missouri and Kristie Shank of Willard, Missouri; three sisters, Mary Ellen Hogue and husband, Edward, of Noel, Missouri, Marinda Wright and husband, Tony, of Goodman, Missouri and Wilma Lee McMahan of Joplin, Missouri; four step grandchildren; her soon to be mother in-law, Wanda Mae Burgos of Anderson, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services for Debra Ann McMahan are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Petty Cemetery near Noel, Missouri with Bro. Les Osburn officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Don Chaney, Jimmy Easter, Ray Meade, Gary Geddes, Rick Glaze and Liz Childers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
