Funeral services for Bertha Jean McPherson, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Central Calvary Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. McPherson passed away at 7:40 a.m., Friday, July 23, 2021, at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born March 6, 1938, in the State of California. In 1954 she was married to Robert Dean McPherson, Sr. and to this union was born five children, Robert D. McPherson, Jr., and wife, Sharon, Tim McPherson and wife, Kristin, Margaret Allen, Dee Dee McPherson and Becky Munive.
She is survived by her children; three siblings, Lona York, State of Oregon, Larry Howard, State of California and Barbara Hultburg, State of Arizona; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jean was faithful to read the Word of God. She never failed to encourage her family to read the Bible. Some of her greatest joys were letters, phone calls and visits from her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m., Thursday at the Central Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.
