Mrs. Florence Edens, wife of Hiram Edens of Washburn, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Monett Monday morning at the age of 74 years. She was born November 29, 1880 and was a lifelong resident of that community.
Mrs. Eden was a consistent member of the Baptist Church and was a fine woman.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Fern Edens of Cassville, and two daughters, Mrs. Ed Chappell of Washburn and Mrs. Paul Arnold of Sand Springs, Okla.
Funeral services are being held at the Washburn Baptist Church this, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 with the Rev. Henry Harriman officiating. Burial is to be in the King Cemetery under direction of Culvers.
