William Hutchison homesteaded land in Newton County around 1834 and moved his family onto the property. First burial in the Boaz was Stanford Hutchison in 1839.

Directions Hwy 60 East out of Neosho turn left on to Walleye Rd. The cemetery is three miles on the left side of road just before the Hutchison Creek.

At this time the land owner will not allow access to Boaz Cemetery or the other small cemetery on his property. Missouri Cemetery laws are written so that anyone is able to visit a cemetery and reasonable accommodation should be made by the property owner.
