Stanley Lynn Brechbuhler, 53, of Crane, died at 8:56 a.m. April 24 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield.

Mr. Brechbuhler was born August 5, 1954, in Aurora. He was a 1972 graduate of Aurora High School and attended Fort Scott Community College. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Aurora and Kirby Wilcox Post 676 Springfield American Legion. He worked for Howard Johnson's restaurants in Springfield and was a truck driver for Arrow Trucking and BFI, and worked for Brinks Security as an armed guard.

He married Debbie McClanahan on July 6, 1980, in Aurora, and she survives.

Additional survivors include one son, Alex Brechbuhler of the home; one daughter, Annie Brechbuhler of the home; his mother Norma Jean Brechbuhler of Crane; two sisters, Charlotte Butler of Columbia and Terry Barnes of Mt. Vernon; one brother, Rob Brechbuhler of Crane; and several nieces and nephews and a great niece and great nephew.
