Henry was raised by his mother's sister, Martha 'Patty' and her husband Benjamin Bluebaugh in Kentucky. Henry and wife Milly lived in Kentucky, Morgan County, IL and several Missouri counties before settling in Schuyler County, MO in 1839. Henry Pearcy was a farmer and later kept a hotel in Coatsville. Both are bured in Coatsville Cemetery.
