Obituary Below
Plot: A, 221
Ruth E. Kesterson, 86, Springfield, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at the Cambridge, surrounded by her family. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on December 14, 1920, to the late Percy and Grace Randall. Ruth moved to Missouri from Ocala, Florida, to be with family that she loved. Although Ruth never had children of her own, she was blessed with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of many years, John W. Kesterson, and his daughter, Gladys Muse, who Ruth held close to her heart. Her sister, Shirley Bennett, also preceded her in death. Ruth is survived by a brother, Charles Randall of Penn Valley, California, and a sister, Vera Flick of Temperance, Michigan. She had a special niece, Reva Bell of Willard, that she thought the world of.
