ROBERTS, Will - {from Pea Ridge, AR} Miss Nannie Roberts received a telegram from Anderson, Mo. Monday saying her nephew, Will Roberts, was drowned. She went at once. We have not heard the particulars yet. She dismissed her room in the school for the week. [Rogers Democrat - Rogers Benton County, Arkansas - September 22, 1910]
{from The Pineville Democrat} Will Roberts of Pueblo, Colo., who with his mother was visiting his sister, Mrs. Will Roark at Anderson, was drowned in Indian creek Monday afternoon while fishing along the banks of the stream. It seems that Mr. Roberts was subject to epileptic fits and that he was overcome by one of these fits and fell in the creek and drowned. He had become separated from the others who were in the fishing crowd and consequently was not observed when he fell in. The remains were interred in the Anderson cemetery Tuesday. [Benton County Democrat - Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas - September 22, 1910]
