WASHBURN, Mo. — Herbert Edward "Eddie" Winter Jr., 8O of Washburn died March 28, 20O2, at Northwest Medical Center In Springdale. He was
born Oct. 24, 1921, In Bar Harbor, Maine, to Herbert Edward and Mary Edward Milliken Winter. He was a Navy veteran, serving as a gunner’s mate 3rd class aboard the USS Brooklyn. He was a self-employed
painter and a life member of the International Brotherhood of Painters & Allied Trades. He enjoyed gardening, reading and worklng with cattle and guard dogs. He was a nondenominational church member. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans oganization. His wife, Mamle Lucille Snow Winter, died on March 24, 1983.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Kaye Learned of Washburn, Lynda Corinne Thompscn of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Margaret Ellen Hackett of Seligman, Mo.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sisco Chape1 Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with Ken Lerwick and John Culver officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 9063 of Bella Vista.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
