Dr. William P. Lynn, 55, of Blytheville, Ark., died Thursday, May 14, 1998, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville.
Born in Kennett, Mo., to Paul and Rowena Lynn, he was an area resident all his life.
A practicing optometrist in Blytheville, Dr. Lynn was also a member of the Arkansas
Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, and a member of the Cooter United Methodist Church.
He leaves his wife, Nina Thomas Lynn, of Blytheville; a son, Brian Lynn, of Memphis; a daughter, Ginger Lynn, of Atlanta; his mother, Rowena Lynn Teeter, of Cooter, Mo; and two brothers: Michael Lynn and Joe Lynn, both of Cooter.
Funeral services for Dr. Lynn were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 1998 in the Cooter United Methodist Church in Cooter, with Rev. Tom Zych and Rev. Dwight Chapman officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo., with Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville in charge. The Steele Enterprise, Steele, Missouri, Thursday, May 21, 1998.
