Services for John Armstrong, 88, who died in the hospital at Hayti April 4th, were held April 6th in the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with the Rev Roy Handley officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 13th, 1889 in Morganfield, Ky.
Survivors include his wife, Flora, of Steele; two daughters, Louella Dickerson of Hornersville, and Kathryn Hall of Granite City, Ill.; three sons, Willard Armstrong of Millsboro, Odell Armstrong of Doniphan, and Vernon Armstrong of Arnold; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Donnie Armstrong, Larry Armstrong, Gene Armstrong, Terry Armstrong, and Mike Armstrong.
