Truman Nelson Dunaway, a farmer of Tyler, Mo., died at his home on Wednesday, May 26, 1943. According to doctors his death was attributed to tuberculosis. He had been in this community for about three years.
Mr. Dunaway was born at Jacksonville, La., October 17, 1897. He was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 27 at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Tyler, with the Rev. J.N. Patterson in charge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva M. Dunaway; two sons, T.P. of Tyler and John, who is in services; and one daughter, Ruby Maxine of tyler; five step-sons: Bob Nicholson, who is in the Navy, Clyde A. Nicholson, stationed in the Army; Alvin Nicholson of tyler; William and Paul Kurkenburg of Tyler; three sisters, Mrs. Labraska Denison and Miss Ethel Dunaway of Parma, Mo., and Mrs. Cora Marston of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
Interment was made in Mount Zion Cemetery with German Undertaking Co., in charge of the arrangements.
