Funeral service was held May 5 at the Holly Grove Baptist Church for Clarence Pollard. Rev. Joe Smith officiated.
Mr. Pollard was born October 21, 1908 at Rich Hill, Mo. and died May 3, 1980 at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville at the age of 71. He was a retired farmer of Cooter.
He leaves his wife, Opal Goff Pollard of the home; One daughter, Dianne Tomlin of Steele; Two sons, Jerry Pollard of Cooter and Larry Pollard of Hayti; Two sisters, Nettie Allen and Lorene Azbill, both of Cooter; Two brothers, Henry Pollard of Blytheville and Shon Pollard of Cooter; and Ten grandchildren.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
