Mrs. Lizzy Pearl Jackson, 64, of Gobler, died July 21, 1989, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett. Born February 16, 1924 in Holland, she is the daughter of James and Frances Scott Hicks. She was a housewife and attended the Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Ervin Jackson of Gobler; three sons: Charles and Jimmy Jackson, both of Kennett and Nelson Jackson of St. Louis; three daughters; Mrs. Reba Greenfield of Hornersville and Mrs. Mary Willett and Mrs. Sue Hogan, both of Bragg City; two brothers, James Hicks of Rives and Stacy Hicks of Gobler; four sisters: Mrs. Donnie Staggs of St. Louis, Mrs. Gene Staggs of Rives, Mrs. Tudy Barron of Gobler and Mrs. Bessie Bayne of Portageville; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

One son, Glenn Jackson, preceded her in death.

Services were July 24, 1989 at 2 p.m. at Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Gerald Moss, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David Farris, Dennis and Buddy Barron, Jamie Morgan, Jessie Beaver and Joe Tidwell.

Ervin Newton Jackson, 75, of Senath, formerly of Gobler, died April 13, 1992 at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett. Born April 11, 1917, in Holland, he was the son of George and Nancy Jackson. He was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Hicks Jackson and two sons, Roy Glenn and Jimmy Jackson.

He is survived by two sons, Charles Jackson of Kennett and Nelson Jackson of East. St. Louis; three daughters, Reba Greenfield of Hornersville, Sue Hogan of Bragg City and Mary Willett of Kennett; two brothers, Clayborn Jackson of Kennett and Sylas Jackson of Waynesboro, Tenn.; three sisters, Mildred Dugger and Geraldine Moore, both of Waynesboro, and Minnie Allen of Kennett; twenty-four grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services were April 15, at 2 p.m. at Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Glynn Davis officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert Pritchett, Harold and Windy Scott, Kenny Payne, Donald Weaver and Davis Farris.
