Albert B. Denton, 58, died Wednesday at his home in Denton, death was attributed to hypertension, cardiac enlargement, chronic nephitis and uremia. Mr. Denton had been in failing health for several months, but was confined to his bed only a week.
Mr. Denton had lived his entire life in the Denton and Steele communities. At one time he conducted a garage in this city. He also engaged in farming, and was held in high esteem by his friends in south Pemiscot county.

Obituary
Albert B. Denton was born at Denton July 12, 1876, and departed this life August 29, 1934, age 58 years, 1 month and 17 days. In 1910 he was married to Donia Gowen. To this union was born 11 children, 9 of which are living, 3 sons and 6 daughters, namely, Henry, Harold, A.B. Jr., Mrs Helen Vickers, of Caruthersville, Mrs. Lois George, of Manford, Tenn., Alma, Billie Reba and Jo Ann. Two children have preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife and children, he leaves also a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Baptist church in Denton, by Rev. M.A. Massey, pastor of the Steele M.E. Church. Burial was made in the family plot in the Denton cemetery. German Undertaking Co. had charge of arrangements.
