Doyle James Hughes, Grant City, passed away November 13, 2011 at the Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph.
He was born December 28, 1949 to Joe and Bertha Hughes.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Ronald Hughes.
Surviving are his mother, Bertha; son, Joe Hughes and Amanda; two grandchildren, Jade and Dakota; step-sons, Danny and Terry Jennings: five step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson; three brothers, Larry, Gary and Kenny; one sister, Donna Lynch; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, at the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Mo. Interment will be in the Grant City Cemetery.
