Ruby Sybel Boles, daughter of John and Sarah [Camp] Boles, was born Sept. 15, 1899, near Powell, Mo., and departed this life Feb. 26, 1963, at her home on Mikes Creek, at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 11 days.

Ruby obeyed the Gospel in 1914 and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ for the remainder of her life.

She was united in marriage to Harold Mooney of Washburn, Mo., on Oct 20, 1921. To this union a son Ray Mooney, was born.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Mooney of the home; the son, Ray Mooney and his wife of Spring Hill, Tenn.; another son, Lonnie Hughes, of Salem, Ore., by a previous marriage; her father, John S. Boles of Mikes Creek; four sisters and two brothers, Erma Michael, Washburn, Mo., Maybe Stein, Webb City, MO., Bertha Clifton, Rocky Comfort, Mo., Leona Norman, Washburn, Mo., Ray Boles and Loren Boles, both of Belton, Mo., and her two grandsons, Danny and Billy Mooney of Spring Hill, Tenn., and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ruby lived her entire life in McDonald and Barry Counties, with the exception of 12 years on the West Coast.

Although she had been an invalid for a number of years, she was a happy person, always had a gay "hello" and a big smile for people who came to see her. She loved company, especially children. To know her was to love her, and each of her family and friend had a richer life just by having known her. She always had so much to give of herself.

She bore her sickness and suffering with such patience, always looking for the things to be happy about. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, who took care of her so patiently for so many years, by her sons and families and by all the rest of her family and friends.

Her mother, Mrs. Sarah Boles, preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1960.
