Roy L. Burrows, 56, son of Bennie F. Burrows and Myrtle F. Oder Burrows, was born Nov. 29, 1946, at Tyrone. He died July 29, 2003, at his home at Summersville.
He married Janett P. Brawley July 4, 1964. They had two daughters.
Mr. Burrows owned and operated R & J Burrows Trucking for the last 25 years which he leased to various transport companies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James F. Oder.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Connie L. Burrows of Branson and Paula S. Sykes of West Plains; sister, Jean Riley of Hartshorn; half brother, William Roberts of Michigan; and two grandchildren.
Services were Aug. 2 at the Praise and Worship Community Church at Summersville with Rick Purcell officiating. Burial was in the Nagle Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
