Death of a Little Child
The 3 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Baker died at Oronogo Saturday morning after only an hour's illness. Mrs. and Mrs. Baker are former Carthage young people, Mr. Baker being the son of H. M. Baker of West Macon street and Mrs. Baker being formerly Miss Nettie Parkell, a daughter of A. B. Parkell. Their many friends here deeply sympathize with them in their affliction. The funeral was held this morning at Oronogo and the remains were brought to Carthage on the noon inter-urban train for interment in Park Cemetery.
