Opal Juanita White, 69, daughter of Hayden and Geneva Savage White, was born Nov. 28, 1925, at Red Oak, Iowa. She died Oct. 29, 1995, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. Her family moved to the Tyrone area years ago. She worked at Summersville and at the Rawlings plant. Since 1956, she had lived in the Cabool area. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Combs; and a brother, Glen White. Surviving are three daughters, Gail Lakey, Deborah Aldridge and Janice Vaughn all of Cabool; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were Oct. 31 at the Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home Chapel at Cabool with the Rev. Sidney Williason officiating. Burial was in the Nagle Cemetery. {From the Houston Herald]
