Services for Luther Rollins, 59, who died May 31, 1977 at Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluff were held June 2nd at the First Baptist Church in Holland with the Rev. Glenn Johnson officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.

He was born May 14, 1918 at New Middleton, Tenn. He was a veteran of world War Two and full military honors were conducted by personnel from Blytheville, Ark., Air Force Base.

Survivors include his wife, Velma Garrett Rollins of the home, two sons, Jerry Rollins of Holland and Dennis Rollins of Steele; his mother, Mrs. Mary Rollins of Steele three sisters, Mrs. Flossie Taylor of Holland, Mrs. Marie McCormick of St. Charles, Ill., and Mrs. Sadie Shumate of Kansas City; and two brothers, Sidney Rollins of St. Louis and William Rollins of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
