John Barr Hibbs died 27 Aug. 1895,northeast of Sheridan, MO, a suicide. He had been married twice,the first time to Miss Jennie Large,from whom he was divorced a few years ago. One child, a boy of 7 now, was born to them. He was last married to Miss Artie Williams,12 June 1892 & one child was born. Miss Williams mother is Mrs. John Early.
John was treasurer in Worth Co. in 1891-92 & ran a livery business...He leaves his mother,2 brothers,5 sisters & a child of 10 months. Burial in Isadora MO. cemetery beside his father.
