Mr. Paul H. Cooper, 94, died Tuesday, April 7, 1992, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Blytheville, Ark.
Son of the late Thomas Spencer Cooper and Almeda Brooks Cooper, he was born in Cooter, Mo., February 15, 1898.
A member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter, he was the owner of and pharmacist at Cooper's Pharmacy in Cooter and also the drug store in Holland, Mo.
At Steele, Mo. on December 6, 1923, he was united in marriage to Miss Vera Coleman, who preceded him in death December 12, 1986.
Mr. Cooper leaves two daughters: Mrs. Peggy Cooper Thompson of Steele and Mrs. Jane Cooper Primm of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Five grandchildren; and Six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 9, 1992, at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter, with Rev. Steve Williams and Rev. Ben Early officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Vera Cooper, 83, of Cooter, died Dec. 12 at River Oaks Nursing Home in Steele. Born Sept. 21, 1903 in Caruthersville, she was the daughter of P.A. and Fannie Wallace Coleman. She was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter and was a retired teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Paul H. Cooper of Cooter; Two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Thompson of Steele and Mrs. Jane Primm of Santa Fe., N.M.; One sister, Mrs. Genevieve Wallace of Holland; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Holly Grove Baptist Church, the Rev. Tim Abanathy officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
