Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon by Rev. J. W. Cunningham, pastor of the Baptist church for Edward Landon Burke, 17 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Burke, who died Monday at the family home near Deering. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with German Undertaking Co. in charge. The child had been ill only a short time with bronchial pneumonia.
The baby is survived by his parents, two brothers, Billy Warren and Alton Wayne, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Stallions and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davis; great grandmother, Mrs. Sallie Strode and a host of other relatives and friends.
