Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Bell Dodd, 92, were held Thursday, June 13, 1983 at 2;00 p.m. in the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele. Rev. Charles Faught officiated.
Mrs. Dodd was born August 6, 1890, in Wildersville, Tennessee, and died June 13, 1983 at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
She leaves two sons: Everett Dodd of Bloomdale, Missouri, and J.D. Dodd of Memphis; one daughters, Mrs. Verna Hodson of Estacada, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Smothers of Clarksford, Tennessee; one half-brother, Jack Morgn of Yuma, Tennessee; and 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bud Davis, Cecil Riley, Joe King, Clifford Britt, Henry Boren, and Hubert Pierce.
Burial was in the Mount Zion Cemetery near Steele, with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
