Brenda Jean Green, wonderful wife, mother and grandmother quietly passed away at her residence from natural causes, while surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday morning, Aug. 24, 2010. Born February 3rd, 1950 to Henry Edison and Virginia Lee (Gasperson) Wood, she was 60 years old.
Brenda was married to Edgar Green of Willow Springs, April 23, 1966. To this union, four sons were born. Brenda had many enjoyments in her life such as camping, taking frequent trips with her family to Branson, sitting and relaxing by her gold fish pond, which her husband had made for her, and being with her family and friends. However, she especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, and by her son, Joshua.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar, of Willow Springs; her sons, Eddie Green and his wife Jeanette of Willow Springs, Brad Green of Willow Springs, and chad Green and his wife Kim of Gainesville, MO. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Dustin, Tamatha, Aaron, Jesse, Austin, Ashley, Jennifer, Coty, Kaitlin, Joshua, Danielle, Rebecca, Hailey and Danae; and great-grandchildren baby Hayden and baby Carlie.
Funeral services for Brenda were Friday, Aug. 27, at the Westside Family Life Center in Willow Springs. Burial was at the Willow Springs City Cemetery. Arrangements were under direction of Willow Funeral Home.
