Dr. J.C.B. Davis was one of Willow Springs most beloved doctors of the early 1900's. Funeral services for Dr. J.C.B. Davis were held in the high school gymnasium, Feb. 5, 1937 at 2:00 p.m., the saddest and largest funeral ever held in Willow Springs. From the book, WILLOW SPRINGS & SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES 1869-1969 CENTENNIAL, by Ella Lilly Horak.
